I got my hood yestday and it's got overspray and drips of paint on it. Underneith is a decent coat of black paint. I have a polisher rated at 1k - 3k rpm.

I was wondering what attachment and chemicals you guys would suggest. TIA:)

If the black paint under the overspray is not lacquer, you can use lacquer thinner on a rag to get off the overspray. Otherwise a buffing pad with compound will work on the overspray, but drips may cause the compound to cut through the good paint if you try to compound them off.
