It's been a long summer/fall, but the GN is back together and driving. This car was a major rust bucket, and has been rebuilt once before. Both doors were shot, the roof had holes on both sides, the trunk lip. and one 1/4 behind the wheel well. It has also been rebuilt at least once, and proably rear ended once too. It'll never be a show GN, but I wanted a nice driver. I found a decent passenger door, but had no luck on a good driver's side. I ended up using the patch panels, both inner and outer, and the quality is very good. I tore the car apart as much as possible, 1/4 windows were out, header off, etc.

It finally cured enough to wax it, here is the final result. I can post some progress pics if folks are interested.

Looks real nice. My doors were shot also picked up a couple of parts cars and almost sold a set of doors for $200.00 before looking at them. they were mint:eek:. I still have body off frame so its going to be a while before its done. I hope it turns out like your car

Thanks for the reply! Bodywork is slow and tedious, but worth it in the end!

Your car looks good!! I have my 86 GN in the body shop as well and I hope to have it back in the Spring. :)
