bolts on the compressor side

You know those extra bolts that are around the compressor housing...2 of them used for actuator...I pulled them off of my 51 so that my turbo sheild would fit on there...it sits right up against on the compressor(my 49 had plenty of clearance)...anyway, I looked at them and they jsut looked like accessory mounting points, but is there a reason to leave those bolts in?

As far as I know, they clamp the compressor cover, preventing it from rotating...

yeah... pulled off turbo cover and noticed the compressor side was coming apart! left off cover and replaced braket/bolts...opps!
