Wanting to make more boost. What should I adjust first the RJC boost valve or the actuator rod?

i bet you 10 bucks when you turn the rjc nothing will happen, my vote is for the rod depending on how much more boost you want.;) nothing against the product it just doesnt seem to like certain combo's

i tuy rjc in all the way to get 23 psi then i turn the rod in 2 turns to get 25

You will get more boost out of the RJC controller if you take it apart and stretch the spring. I was running 27psi with a stock actuator. The rod was set so loose, I barely had to pull to connect it to the puck.

 do you have one? my works flawless.... 1 turn= 1lb

i tried streching the spring, and putting a heavier spring with shims in with no luck, i never figured it out, so i just tuned the rod a few times and got to my goal of 26psi, never figured out the issue with the controller though. i have seen a few others with the same problem, maybe its something in our combo:confused:

i would try and adjust it through the rjc boost controller first.
