I saw setup that had a knob on the console to control boost by turning the knob. It was plumbed into the wastegate. How could this regulate boost without an electronic boost controller? If its possible why spend 500 plus for an electronic unit
there are manual controllers that are specifically designed to go in the cabin of the car, although not as responsive as one closer they dont work bad. Turbosmart makes them and Im not sure of anyone else
I assume it was teed into both. I was just curious as most talk about the electronic units and myself have bought and used an innovative at over 500 bucks. The builder of this setup is well known in the buick community so I dont question what he said just wonder why I never see this as an option when boost control comes up?
I know you dont have different stages but to pick a boost from inside the car is handy
It's old school, but it gets the job done for a slow street car and the nice thing is it's not as obvious as the electronic units. Gotta keep it stealthy.
