I'm installing a boost controller on the GN. My turbo dose not have a port for the airline. Where else can I hook this to?

It's nice to have a dedicated boost line from the highest possible pressure port. Assuming a pressure drop across the intercooler, then the port on the outlet nozzle of the turbo would be the best spot. This gives your controller a little more power to control the wastegate. However, any port off the intake will normally do.

You could always drill and tap a hole for a barb fitting at either spot. But be careful if it's not the thing your used to doing. I don't know what your mechanical skills are.

Otherwise, just split off any boost line coming off the throttle body.

What controller? Electronic or mechanical?

So you have a stock style wastegate with one pressure port?

If so, all it does is bleed the air pressure that normally is used to overcome spring pressure to open the wastegate. Thus, increasing boost. You are not using boost to hold the wastgate closed. The spring does that.

So, I think you just "T" it into the tubing already going to the wastegate port.

But, it's been a long time since I have had a stock set-up. Anyone else?

I'm running a 3.5 down pipe with external wastegate and was installing the adjustable boost controller (the knob) on it everything hooks up to the wastegate. The only issue I have is that my turbo doesn't have a port to hook up my boost line.
