Nobody mentioned this, but watch out for "boost creep" which is an overboost condition caused by not "enough" wastegate. It's not a problem with a stock car, but when you get into bigger turbo & higher flow exhaust, you need to make sure that your wastegate can bypass enough exhaust to keep boost undercontrol. Seems I hear this most with stock style "puck" wastegates not having a large enough wastegate port. I've heard of serious racers welding extra wastegates onto the crossover pipe. Just keep in mind that "overboost" is a VERY bad thing. HTH.
