I just installed one of those in car boost controllers sold by the member sinful6. I was just curious if the long vac line, (approx. 3 feet) from the compressor housing to the vac. "T" will be bad for turbo spool up? I hooked it up exactly how it says in the directions but i was told to avoid long boost lines. The line from the wastegate actuator is very short and goes right to the underhood controller. I know someone else who has it setup differently and works fine. Any info would be great, thanks

I would have to assume that if it is an in-car boost controller that it MUST have a long hose. I had an in-car set-up once and it used about a 3 foot long piece of vacuum hose. I wouldn't think it would hurt spool-up enough to be noticed since the line gets pressurized so quickly. My set-up was with an air regulator piece. It wasn't very accurate though as the boost would fluctuate even when I didn't turn the knob. I think it was my wastegate though. It has over 160,000 miles on it.
