I finally got my car running really good. New chip, new air filter(other one was sucking shut), and a mess of other stuff and now the car is doing great. Now my only problem left is I nail the gas and she hits about 15#'s of boost in first and it drops to 10#'s real quick, then to 8#'s.....then by third it will climb back up to 10#?????
I am running the V2 intake, ta49, #40, solid maf piping with brand new open filter, front mount spearco intercooler. I got an adj. stock wastegate on it with a air pressure regulator bleeding air off before the wastegate. Also using the the stock "Y" connector with the orfice going the right way. NO exhaust leaks. I am going to try to hook the stock solenoid back up and maybe throw my spare adj. wastegate on to rule that out. Does position of the wastegate cause problems? It opens obviously so it must be working, I would think???
If the boost drops after it already builds 15#'s......then does that point to a problem after the turbo?? If the solenoid and wastegate do nothing....I am thinking I need to do a compression test????
Any help for me guys/gals??
TIA, Nick.
