huh?

guess you mean fuel pressure.....

with GN1's, your boost will be limited by the turbo capacity...in other owrds, you may not get 15 lbs

why would you run GN1's with a TE-44?

as stated, the heads will outflow the turbo, so who knows how much boost you can run? (not much, would be my guess....)

your combo is way mismatched....be careful, even at low boost because you will be making some power

Thanks, just wanted to know what the max would be. Will add bigger injectors and turbo later. Porting headers out know and should have engine running soon.(new .30over)

Hi, I am actually running this combo right now with GN1's and a TE-44 with a .85 exhaust housing. Great spool up for fun on the street but at the track all I can get for max boost is 21 psi. Looking to step up to a CPT-66 or a PTE-67. A little to small of a turbo if you've got those heads and other go fast bolt ons.

don't let people tell you you have a bad combo.

I had a TE-44 w/ .63 A/R with a stock convertor and GN1 heads and LOVED IT!!

talk about a blast on the street.

the car went 7.56 @ 90 mph with 15-16psi of boost

I ran 009s and eventually upgraded to 55s for future mods but the 009s were fine.

the car would run 11s on pump gas all day long and keeping the stock convertor made the car very enjoyable on the freeway and got good gas mileage.

but to answer your question, I wouldn't go much over 17 psi with that fuel pressure.

now if you are willing to turn up the fuel pressure you can probably get at least 21 psi... I have personaly ran 26 psi on C16 for a money race, but not at the track.

I have MSD 50's for injectors. Fastest time yet is 11.83 @ 117.02, that was at 20psi and a 1.98 sixty foot time. I hate these vaccum brakes. Car weighs 3450 lbs w/o driver.

That's good to know. Just got the engine in and should have it running by the end of the week.
