Sorry to here the Turbo V6 is gone. If properly running, it would outperform a 305 SBC.
The turbo lights work off a pressure switch that grounds the circuit. On the firewall or DS inner fender there should be a round switch (maybe two) with a hose on top. Pull the electrical connector and ground it (use paper clip) to see if the lights work. Then you need to replace this switch with one (or two) that respond to vacuum.
