boost gauge

I have a vdo boost gauge goes form 30 hg to 25 psi. My problem is it is off. When i run the powerlogger it gives me a different reading all the time then the gauge. The gauge is electric. Is there anyway to adjust it.

The only thing electric on a boost gauge is the lighting, isn't it? I've never heard of an electric boost gauge. What is the part number? Could you have a kink in the tubing?
