how do s-10 wheel cylinders allow you to hold more boost i know they are 7/8 intead of 3/4 bore but thats diameter not length please someone tell me how

When you press your brake pedal, fluid under pressure moves your wheel cylinder piston out to press the shoe against the drum. Since pressure is measured in psi (per square inch) the larger cylinder has more surface area for the fluid to act against so it presses the shoe against the drum with more force. The heavier load on the engine allows the turbo to build more boost before it overpowers the brakes.

thanks olot i will get them tomorrow before i go to the track right now i have a 1400 stall d-6 "sucks" will be getting a 3000 stall. i can hold 6# of boost at 1650 rpm thats with the gas floored.
