boost line routing....

I know this has probably been beat to death but, i cannot for the life of me find a thread pertaining to this in the search engine.

the hoses from the wastegate selenoid, to the little grey plastic 't' is easy. now, i know that the part of the t, that seems to continue straight, has the longer of the two hoses, and the little offshoot, has the smaller of the two hoses. my question is, does the longer of the two hoses go to the little brass nip on the compressor housing, or to the wastegate. on my car, they both fit. which goes where.

The restrictor at the "Y" of the wastegate actuator vacuum line should be facing towards the line coming from the turbo compressor outlet. If installed backwards, maximum boost will suffer.

so the little stubby line goes to the wastegate. cool. I'm going to go ahead and just throw some new line in there while im at it. Thank you very much !
