I have a new VDO boost gauge and am ready to install it in my 87 GN.

Where should pressure line of gauge access the boost on engine.

If you dont already have a hose from old gauge you need to tee off one of the other vaccumn lines then thru firewall and connect to the gauge wherever you decide to place it in your car.

I believe mine is tee'ed into the hose that goes to the map sensor.

Does this give you boost and vacuum as well?
When I got mine in 1986 I was looking for a place that gave me vacuum as well as boost and all I could find was boost so I drilled and tapped the back of the plenum to keep it hidden.
I must have checked after the check valves.

I believe your correct there is a check valve involved,i would go and look for you but all my cars lines are jury rigged until i can get it to Jim so he can reroute all my hoses. I only have it back together enought to run, i know it is incorrect. I was trying to remember before i had my crash.
