Hey guys,

Just got my power logger installed yesterday, did my okc street outlaw test hit today(no log I'm posting from my phone) and noticed my boost is spiking to 27 psi before settling down to 23 where it's set to. I'm running internal with RJC downpipe ported wg hole non hd actuator RJC boost controller. My rod is all the way in and the boost controller is maxed. Any ideas as to why the boost is spiking? My noob idea is that the RJC controller is maxed so the boost is hitting too hard all at once but I'm probably way off. Thanks guys

Suggest you change to a HD waste gate actuator. It's my understanding that the standard actuators are only good up to 21-22psi.
When the standard actuator is maxed out, you are prone to boost creep in 3rd gear.
Not sure if we are on the same page or not.

Thanks for the reply, it doesn't seem to be creeping just an initial spike to 27ish before settling down to 23psi. I searched previous threads seems an unported wg hole on the turbo is a common culprit. I had mine professionally ported so I hope that's not the problem. You can see the spike before it settles in the attached pic

So me pushing a non hd actuator to 23psi w/ the rjc controller maxed out could be causing the spike because the rod is too short/tight?
