I need to know the best/fastest way to build boost. I race ET and have a hard time getting the boost up enough before launching the car. I heard about a pop off valve? I have never used a pop off valve though. Is there anything else? I have a PT70 with a 3.5 Terry Houston down pipe.

3.8 bored .30 over, stock ported heads, t&d rockers, DLS crank, Champion
ported intake, PT plenum, PT70 turbo, 83lb inj. 3.5 downpipe, ATR replica headers, translator pro with inovative widewand, 350 turbo with trans brake and coan 3500 stall, tin man 4'' air pipe, PT frt mount intercooler, Red Armstrong dual intank fuel pump. Anything else needed?

A looser converter down low. More compression ratio always helps too. Lean out your fuel while spooling. A rich tune there will slow it down. N2O will allow almost immediate spool. Run it with a normally closed switch and have it open at your desired boost pressure. Ive got an old T72 BB P-trim and that thing spools like crazy on a 3000 at zero boost/zero vacuum stall.

Bison you lost me what is a n20. I have a boost solinoid from Full Throttle.
loose convertor? Gear ratio is a 390 and I usually run 1/8th mile tracks.

Looser torque converter (Like 3200 at zero boost/vacuum, not sure what you actually have stating 3500 stall), small shot of nitrous with the normally closed switch and pre set at whatever boost you want to shut it off. With the nitrous and the correct tune you could spool the T70 in under 1 second on the t-brake. This is with a .85 exhaust housing on it. A .63 ex housing will be even quicker. You will need 50-75 shot of N2O. It will last a long time because it will only be on for a second till the switch shuts off the flow of the nitrous.

I am running the stock ECM with a translator pro, inovative wideband and
Extender chip from Full Throttle. Why?

One reason why is because you can easily lean out the fuel in the spool transition to make it spool faster with a stand alone.
