kit

not sure what cost you got but you can buy all the parts new yourself from a local autoparts - just don't use pepboys - they suck.

I just did this myself and you'll need

1. used pedal from a g-body with vacuum brakes (81-87 cutlass, monte, non-turbo regal ) $ 20

2. new vacuum booster w/ check valve $ 100

3. new master cylinder $ 100

4. new vacuum booster filter $ 15

5. Turbo Trans Am vacuum block (JohnsPerformance.com) $ 40

so that brings the total to $ 275

or you could contact redregalT and he has a used kit he puts together for about half that - which after totaling this all up is what i should have done. I actually had a problem w/ the "new" booster I bought from pepboys so now i have to pull it off and take it back.

Even w/o the vacuum, the brakes are better than w/ the crap PM system it came w/. Good move.
