Bottle Location for SMC Square Bottle

Hi,

Just upgrade my SMC alky kit. I wanted to put the bottle on the fan shroud where my round bottle used to go but if I do I will have to custom fab the top bracket. Where is everyone mounting theres.

I mounted mine in the same place as the round bottle. I had to cock the zip tie things and then glue them so that the bottle stayed straight. If you don't the bottle wants to lean.

That's exactly what I wound up doing. I had to use a pushrod guide plate from a Poncho to make an extension for the zip tie around the bottle neck, so it wouldn't lean so bad. It is still tilted toward the pas side, it may make my low alky light come on a little sooner, but I would rather have that on the high side than the pump.

mounted mine behind the passager headlight, made a custom brackets and used a 36 inch line to get to it from the up pipe, looks great and its out of site to everyone... if you want pics i will take some and send them..
