I yanked the motor out of my '87 GN about a year ago. So far I have the following set up using the stock block.

Eagle Forged 4340 Crank (Stock Stroke)
Eagle Forged 4340 Rods
RJC Girdle W/Crank Scraper
J&W Flexplate
Diamond Forged Pistons (.030'' over)
BHJ Balancer
Akerly & Childs Rings
Probably go with Clevite 77 bearings but have not got them yet.

Has anybody used this set up in the past?
What horse power range would you guys say it can handle?
