My father had one of those brand new, what a death trap. Remember on a family trip coming down some steep road in Vermont and the brakes started smoking. Brake drums are about the size of a hockey puck but they matched the might 144 CI straight six in it. My father always had wimpy cars.

I say do an Air Ride Set up, hack the wheel wells and throw on some cool 18's, flat black paint, Whatever interior you can find, and a cheap 350 with a cheap metric 200 trans. The most expensive part would be the air ride but you can actually build your own kit for cheap. Anything looks good with a cool set of wheels!

Old Cars Are

COOL. Here's one i had for many years.

That works! I always wanted to get one and put the turbo 2.3 from a turbo thunderchick in it. Nice driver, decent mileage, still some power to pull itself around.

I can see a supercharged 3800 in that bad boy with a lowered stance and some nice FOOSE wheels! POWER TOUR!

IM still trying to see what I could see in it...very perplexing:D

gotta be an old 460 smog motor in someones backyard waiting for a home

Hey guys how about a little encouragement for him....You will not find many 13 year old young men with the interest for cars and working on them. Most will have their heads buried in electronic games.

I have a really nice .30 302 with big valve world heads, roller rockers, "noisy" timing gear, Viper cam, etc. Has less than 50 miles on it! Built it for a 69 mustang. Installed it, drove it to the paint shop, back home, put a 351Windsor in the car and SOLD it! It is a REALLY nice engine that has been sitting in the garage for about 6 years on the stand. I go out and turn it occasionally just to be safe. Had a Dual quad intake for it but let it go a while back. Once you get to the point of needing an engine if this works for you give me a yell. I will let it go for about what I have in the heads! I have been done with FORDS for a long time. No hurry to sell it just letting you know there is a CHEAP one out here when you are ready. Good luck with your project!
