Oh and while I'm at it Korey. I thought I'd let you know that the roof rail weatherstrips that I bought from you so you can raise money for this Falcon purchase aren't for a Regal.

The weatherstrips are Metro RR5020, the ones for the Regal are RR5020M. I've already ripped off the old drivers side and was in the process of putting on the new one when I realized something wasn't quite right.

All is not lost, because I may be able to trim it and make it work okay, but the passenger side isn't going on my car. That one will be a gift to Vernon since the RR5020 will work with a Malibu of his model year.

So if you're feeling a little heat from me, that's one of the reasons.

Don't bother. Just keep it and I'll check it out on Wednesday.

With Pat's permission, I'm going to immortalize getting this Falcon from the junkyard by bringing a video recorder.

thanks guys we could put a turbo buick motor in it:D

WOW you must have a mouse in your pocket!

Because I'm positive that you're going to move that car from the junk yard onto the front (or side) of your mothers house and that's were it's going to sit until it's hauled back to the junk yard. That and you've just put $200 down the drain.

I dare you to prove me wrong on this one. If you actually get that car road worthy I'll be in complete amazement and you'll have earned an entire new level of respect from me. Taking on the task of restoring a car like this is going to be a huge undertaking that'll take a lot of time and hard work to accomplish.

Sure Eric,

! will need a extra hand to help load it up on the trailer. Besure to have the censor mode on cause i know there will be a few curse words being said.

Till next time!

We will bring a new Vid of the fiero dragging the falcon down Jerry street!

Falcons are cool little cars, I have always wanted a 64, 2 door, 289...Nothing like fixen up an old car. I remeber my mom giving me her "66' Mustang when I was 15, It had to much juice for her.. My dad and I restored it from the ground up.. Sold it when I was 19.. Then got a "66" fairlaine, 289 built, Sold it, I wish I still had both of those cars now! Nothing like a young man having interest in cars.. Reminds me of myself and that age.. I hope my son has the same interest.. Korey, I know you make your parents proud..

Well, I can see him blowing his money on something other than buying a car by himself. At least it is pretty much complete car except for the radiator having been stolen out of it. Someone before obviously thought it had potential since they had already started sanding & priming on it. Complete old car, for $200, albeit a FORD(there are Ford lovers still out there), with a title, he can get his $ back out of it should he decide later to sell.
At least the Fiero CAN now pull it around and not sound like a scalded dawg  (water pump fixed) Come on, don't be Grinches:biggrin:

OMG it's not running again is it!? Now there's a second reason for me not to drive the GN on Wednesday. The first reason being the weatherstrip issue.

Cheryl, I'm not trying to being Grinchy:frown: Getting that Falcon on your front lawn is going to be a highlight of this holiday season. You'll see me smiling from ear to ear:D

Hey don't you drive a Regal?? ;)

The problem is he doesn't have a valid driver's license. Here in the good north state you have to be 16 to hold a driver's license not 13.

The other cars in the sig belong to his Mom (86GN93TY hence her sig under NCTyphoon)

Korey, You replaced the water pump in your Fiero? I had an '87 GT, Great little car, and I put on an underdrive pulley, what a PITA!!!! I cannot imagine doing a water pump...It's not a normal thing to have to pull a tire to replace a belt:eek: Is your Fiero a GT? I still regret selling mine, only ran a 16.4 but got wonderful mileage, used to scare my friends when it was raining, you could crank the wheel one way doing 40mph and the car would continue going straight;)
