Thanks for compliments. I thought the GTO was a sleeper in the looks department but I am stunned at the attention is getting. People crane their necks and stare when the car is on the street. I don't know whether it's the color that first catches their eye but I am really surprised at all the looks and thumbs up gestures I've seen.
Quality wise, this car is incredible, especially on the interior. Extra lighting everywhere (even in the console cubby!), the seats are to die for, and the entire car just exudes first class all the way.
My biggest surprise? The amount of room in the engine compartment! You can see/access all the spark plugs from the engine bay!
I am totally pleased with the car in every aspect.
I'm breaking it in fairly routinely with mostly easy driving but the occasional romp through a couple of gears but not to max rpm. No hard launches or stops - just routine driving mostly.
And man, is that FUN!
