Now my GN has a partner in crime. Do these have the same 3.8L engine?

The engine is basically the same, same rods,bearings but of course you know it has the FWD block and small flange crank. The heads have the same valves but are center hold down valve covers like the TTA. The cams are also interchangable. Not much else to tell you other than like the TR's parts are hard to find.

Thanks for the info. I bought this to be my highway beater. I am glad it is the 231 ci. because these are rock solid motors. I hear it gets decent gas mileage too (28 mpg factory on the highway).

It's also nice because it will remind me of my GN while I am away at grad school (same type interior and suspension).
