Any thoughts on the GReddy Type S? Is there anyone here who is using one?

I'm not a tuner type so I can't say if this is true or not but one of th nice things about the Bypass Valve vs the BOV is that it actually equalizes the pressure on eitherside of the compressor faster being kinder to the bearings and keeping the compressor speed up more since its not fighting that extra little bit of pressure on the manifold side. Also for me its better at muffling the sound as I really hate that noise and since the car the motor is going into is a 1964, I'd rather keep the surprise for when I blow thier doors off than when I stand on the brakes at a stoplight.PaCemkr86 said:thats cool, but on a turbo buick there is no need to do that, with the defco function in the pcm you can vent it to the atmosphere
