I thought they might be able to promote that into something that would be benifical to the event , but the head man is not intrested!! So I'll just keep it at home. Mike

I'm sure the "head man" would love for you to bring your rail and run the Regal. But is it worth it for the event to foot the bill?? Would it be fair to everyone else who doesnt get their bill covered?? Dont forget, times are tough for everyone, and the Nationals is a business. The Buick world is a small one. I dont think them promoting a race between a rail and a Regal will necessarily fill the stands. Cant blame the "head man" for that.
But hey, I like many other Buick people would love to see you bring it. :smile:

A group of us will be there from omaha, 3 cars 5 peeps.
Just to clear the air on this , I only asked for free admission for my car and crew. The way I see it , it would not cost him a single dime out of his pocket and would still cost me close to a thousand dollars. If he would have promoted this as a grude match with the fastest 2 buick powered cars on the planet , Im thinking he might have sold a few tickets to people that were on the fence about attending. Doesnt matter now!! Mike

Personally i don't understand why you feel that you need to be paid to show up and race
I thought the way things work is IF you win you get paid, not get paid to show up
It costs EVERYONE money to show up and race or spectate.
Maybe it's time to install your motor/trans in a door slammer rather then every buick race you consider racing at turn into an issue.......
Anyone want to pay me to show up and race? Lol.
