When depressing the brake pedal to stop, I sometimes get a buzzing feeling or slight vibration like the power master is working. Is this normal? The brake light does not come on.

So I looked at my volt gauge in the car and it's fluctuating every time I feel the pedal vibrate. I pop the hood and the PM motor smells bad. Brake light never turned on though. Could it be the switch since the brake light never turns on? I figured the switch may be bad and telling the motor to run too much. I feel the pedal buzz every few seconds. Car stops fine but my volt gauge is going crazy from the thing turning on all the time.

Ed,
maybe the mastercylinder needs to be rebuilt. The checkvalve may be failing. I'll be at the Cops&Rodders car show (CHP Academy, W Sacramento) this Saturday. I can bring my brake gauge assembly and you can do some test. The brake gauges are the best method to pinpoint a hydraulic problem in the PM system.

Thanks for the offer. One thing I have is little time. I did change the accumilator and it sucked in half the amount of fluid that the old one did. It also only took 9-10 seconds to fill it up vs the 15 seconds with the old one. I'll drive it soon and let yall know. Next is pressure switch. I figured since I need these for spares anyway, I'd try them. Brakes seem better now but not enough driving time.... Again thanks for the offer. I just might take you up on it if I can't fix it.
