okay i just took my power master brake system out of my 85 hot air and put in a basic booster and master cylinder do to a blown motor in the power system... the problem i'm running into... you have to have a hell of a strong leg to push the pedal down its drivable and stopable but man is the pedal stiff i bled the brakes and have new pads rotors and calipers its like its not building enough vaccum and i have the one way valve... do i need like a vaccum motor to give that booster vaccum???? HELP PLEASE

You "should not" need a vacuum pump.
How much vacuum @ idle, where is the signal hook-up, is the check valve sealing, and does the system (booster) hold vacuum?

10 vacuum at idle the hook up is right off the vacuum block near the throttle body and yes the booster holds vacuum... the valve is sealing as well... im stuck..

car runs allright 130 thousand miles so a little ran i bought it that way casper thumbwheel i always run it at 5 any other setting seems like it runs funny and almost like a hikup when i first accelerate but at anywhere other than five i dont know how the thumbwheel works im kind of new to all this but other than that it's ok it will make a gt stang look silly but in order to get good braking i have noticed in neutral its easier to stop? i really dont know im lost with the brakes????
