Hey, I have had my 87 for a number of years, but it has spent alot of time in storage. I have heard the scanmaster mentioned lots, but I don't really know what exactly you can do with it. What exactly does it do for you?

It lets you view the data stream that your ECM is seeing, things like coolant temp, battery voltage, O2 voltage, MAF reading, TPS voltage, knock retard (DETONATION!), etc.

What is the best current system to use? I have a lap top, so that is not an issue. I have seen a few different items names pop up. What advantages do they have over one another?
