I have acquired a "BRAND NEW" Stage 1, 3.8 block. It's a little rusty but that will not effect it. No machine work has been done to this factory block.

This is the first Stage 1 that I have had -- What's it worth???? Any idea's???

i just paid 2000 for a 4.1 stage one thats fully machined w/2 billet center caps. thats a heck of a deal considering it saved me about 1500 in parts and machining on my 3.8 and its stronger. the seller told me he paid 2800 for it brand new years ago. if ur keeping it, drill the extra head bolt holes and run 14 bolt heads. also if u have the money i think you can put in 4 bolt mains but regular 2 bolt billet caps are good enough esp. w/a forged crank

Hi, Mike,

I'm confused? Are you selling this block, trying to find out what it's worth, fielding purchase and build-up experiences and recommendations?
