Hello everyone, just picked up my dream car last Friday. 87 GN stock with 65K. I purchased the car in Albuquerque and I live in Tucson. I have been researching this forum for months leading up to me actually getting the car, I know I will have many many questions and look forward to tapping into the vast amount of knowledge possessed by everyone here. A little background as to how I came into the GN. I have wanted one ever since my uncle educated me on the GN when I was very young (He has an 85 Monte Carlo SS) So for many many years wanting one and constantly perusing the web and researching them, an odd twist of fate brought me into one. I was on temporary duty from Davis-Monthan AFB Tucson, AZ to Kirtland AFB Albuquerque, NM I drove my 02' Saturn Vue (Bought from my parents after joining the Air Force) to Kirtland AFB. Well, half way through my temporary duty I was sent to Moody AFB Valdosta, GA. I left my car in Albuquerque for my good friend to borrow while I was gone. Well to keep this from rambling on any more, he crashed the Vue at 8MPH and totaled the thing. So insurance company gave me a fat check and it gave me the perfect opportunity to pursue a GN for real for the first time in my life. The rest is history as they say... Corny, but I'm super excited! So after all that, here I am.
