Wow I actually picked a winner. looking at Utube vid I would say Brock got wiped in R1. But he pulled out the win even though he was whipped..

I bet next time shane will win

As much as I can't stand that big bonehead I think Lesnar will end it in the second round with a ground and pound. The only chance someone has against him unfortunately is to ensure their take down defense is as good a BJ Penn's and make him fight standing up.

I just don't see many beating him on the ground with his wrestling skillz, strength, weight and athletic ability. Sad but true.

Sad but true that you can have a Champion of the Premiere MMA Organization who has serious deficiencies in his game, yet seems able to overpower opponents and win on the above mentioned attributes. This is why I really think they need a 205- LHW division, 240- Cruiser weight division, and anything over 241+ is Super Heavys... You have a really skilled bunch of guys who sit at 230-250 who could make for a very good division, but are not big enough to be competitive with these juggernaut 265 guys.... Besides that I would bet with two seperate divisions like that you may see a Shane carwin or Lesnar try to drop to 240 to take some fights...

They do need to create some weight divisions to keep the fights a little more even.

Randy Couture weighed 220 lbs and Lesnar weighed 265 lbs when they fought. Not exactly an even fight.

Good point. But the problem is most guys at that weight class (265+) are likely gonna be out of shape fat bastards and would make for a lame fight and that would not make the fans happy and Dana White would never go for it as a result.

It's all a matter of exploiting his weakness which is the stand up.

Problem is he is a great wrestler and most fights do go to the ground unless ur GSP which can defend against it yet exploit his opponents by taking them to the ground with great side control and mounts but then again GSP is probably the best wrestler in the entire UFC yet has no back ground in wrestling meaning no HS or college. He realized he could dominate with ground and pound as well as excellent submissions.

GSP is completely well rounded tho unlike big mouth and can dominate the stand up as well. If GSP was anywhere near heavy weight he would destroy big mouth due to his ability to dominate standing up and the ground game but GSP could never get that big imo.

The Spyder says he's gonna fight heavy weight in the near future. That would be an interesting fight no doubt.

I agree at 265+ the talent pool would be diluted, but at 251+ there would be allot of guys who could fight both a 206-250 weight class and the 251+ weight class... thus you would not have to dilute a Super HW division so much. You have a variety of large guys who could fight in that weight division, but actually struggle to make 265... Mark Hunt, Bob Sapp, Bobbly Lashley, Dave Bautista, Matiuz Pudzianowski... Granted some of those names are not the most skilled guys, but their big and will come out and try to end fights. I would actually like to see these fights thinking they would be more entertaining than the last few HW Championship fights that seemed to model Greg Jackson's blueprint for winning in MMA.

On another note I would love to see Anderson get railed by a HW fighter, I really do not think the UFC brass is to impressed with his behavior as of late and would be willing to give him what he wants... the caveat being that he would be fighting a few top contenders not cans... He loses all his reach and size advantage.... I think he would get tooled by any of the top 10 HW's all of which have decent ground game, and let's face it his TDD against a 240+ pound man would be severly tested.... Lesnar, Carwin, CV, JDS, Mir, Nog...would GnP him undoubtedly, specifically in the HW division size does matter.
