#$%^&*(^! Broke one of the "Ears" off an injector connector

Removing electrical connection from injector and one of the plastic "ears" broke off the connector...

Am I the only guy that this has happened to?? OK with just one??

The connectors pretty much hold themselves on, but one ear should do.

I have one broken too. A couple well placed wire ties help.

I broke one ear. the plastic is brittle after all these years. Everything still works fine, those ears just seem like paranoia.

We're talking about where the metal clip slides in right?

The one that was broken on mine was definitely not secure enough on it's own. A couple miles of vibration and I was afraid it might fall off. Maybe some are inherently tighter than others.

Caspers sells a replacement injector harness.

He might sell just the connector to you also.

Of course, I tend to do the tie-wrap method myself.
