Bruce 5 SPEED BEHIND TB V6

Bruce or any one else,

Have a guy who wants to buy my motor but wants to put a 5 speed behind it. He will need to have a pilot bushing installed in crank? Is there something else I am missing? Is this something worth doing? 5 Speed? Do you have a preference if so as to which 5 speed?

This topic has been debated a lot (With various opinions ) So I feel that it is best for you to come to your own conclusions after doing a little reading.

But all the feedback I have either witnessed or been relayed to has been, don't work. Now why, hrmmm you would think it would be cool, but it doesnt work well. If the biggies couldnt make it work , I have no idea why I would try it. I would think if it were the way to go, they ( the biggies) would spare no expense and have one. How many do you see out there? .........see thought so

Thanks Bruce, I will tell the guy to find a 200R4 tranny instead. I had one but sold it. Should have kept the tranny to sell to the guy. The guy I sold the tranny to. I told him to either email or call you. He is putting it behind a stock 400 engine and wanted the Overdrive setup. He had a lot of questions and I told him to get ahold of you.
