Buds Stage 3 SRT4 ran high 11's

I know it is not a GN.....good friend and thought his results are awesome. We rolled out to the track and he let her rip.
Buds SRT4 with the stage 3 mopar kit, drop in K&N, IC hard piping, little thicker IC and Turbo back exhaust. He got some slicks since he was spinning so bad and ran 11.86 @ 117 w/ a 1.7 60'. It was funny to see the cars he was spanking. He never thought it would run that fast.

Whats he using for tires? That is an excellent 60 foot for a SRT! My sons will not hook on BFG drag radials at all but has a good top end charge.

Randy..He got some cheap steel wheels and is running M&H SLICKS not DR. Revs to 4800 and dumps the clutch and never lets off the gas through the gears. :biggrin:

Congrats to your bud! My daily beater is an '05 SRT-4, it's a quick & fun little driver. Only performance mods so far are the Mopar/Borla cat-back and an Accel Kool Blue drop-in filter. I was VERY tempted to throw a stage 2 or 3 kit in there when I bought it; but talked myself outta doing anything "drastic" to the skittle until I get the Buick back on the road.

The axles them selves are supposed to be reaal strong, tranny ..who knows?

They are tough though
