just was wondering if anyone from the board was planing on going to the race in october the 18th -20th at LACR it is sponsored by the BGNRA

i have an 85 with 87 changeover a friend will be going he has an 86 grey t-type and i have emailed two others looking forward to a great time hope to see you there
 
i'm going to try and be there if my transmission works :P

just asking again if anyone else is going to LACR for the buick race on the 18-20......so ffar we have three cars meeting to go any others...

i bought the car changed over but i know that the donor car was bought in arizona it was rolled body hammered but drive train good so all the necesary part were taken from that car and transfered....alot of work but worth it in the end...

If you've ever raced at LACR you'll know why not many people are planning on attending. The track is at 2700 ft altitude and it's not uncommon to have density altitude of 4500+ ft. Not to mention there is almost always a strong cross wind and poor traction. Myself and most of the other So.Cal guys are saving our $$ for Vegas.

Go to search button and enter "Las Vegas" and you will get all the information there...........It's happening starting on November 8th and ends on November 9th...Better call now and get some room reservations for this event.........

racing lacr

yes i have raced at lacr for years i first raced there in 83. and have gone there to watch and race for a while now i know about the alttitude learned about it the hard way trying to dial in a carb on my chevelle from hot mid afternoons to down right cold evenings..and the dust and wind blowing.............. lacr is a 1 1/2 hour drive for me vegas on the other hand is 5+ hours not to mention finding lodging and the such ................ anyways every drag strip has its ups and downs................. just want to really meet some other buick guys and do a little racing and i wasn't sure how many on the board knew about the race so i was just asking if anyone was going...and by the way if i really had the time i would go to vegas too... but not this time
