Its set up for a LS1 w/ eletronic speedo.
Oh.... if I had the money right now.... I need something like that actually for my PCM, its got an LS1 style VSS requirement and the options are go get a Dakota digital box to run off an Autometer VSS sender for thier gauges, or try to do what you did. Which buy the way, how did you do that? I can't imagine this sticking around long enough for me to buy. Is it a lockup trans?

Thanks,

how did i do what?
yes its a 4th gear lock up only. No computer needed to run this trans.

how did you modify the 4L60E reluctor to work on the TH200-4R output shaft to retain the VSS? Because if that isn't too hard its a better idea than using a Dakota Digital box to correct and aftermarket style VSS. I want this tranny bad... but I can't possibly swing it till July. On an extreme off chance would you take a deposit and small payments till a big one and I come and pick it up in July? I can completely understand if you want to sell it outright.

Thanks,

I milled output shaft down .005 and the reluctor wheel slide on. I then drilled a hole in the side of the tailshaft to fit the stock speed sensor from my trans am. Then epoxyed it into place .020 away from the wheel sensor.

Yes the trans is still for sale.

How would i set this back up for my car a 1975 nova with a cable drive speedometer ?
If your wanting a cable driven speedo this trans isnt for you then, you would have to pull the trans all apart to get the speed sensor wheel off the output shaft and install a new plastic cable drive gear on the governor shaft. plus i dont think the converter hub will fit a SBC, i'll have to check.

That is O.K. You dont have to bother.I am not into pulling it apart to do that conversion.Thank you for your time anyhow.

Would u be interested in trading for a built turbo 400 transmission and a 4000 stall Pats 10in stall? Would u be interested in just selling your 3600 Yank Converter?

Thanks,
Young William

Might consider, the trade plus a little cash.
Not really interested in selling just the yank.
Let me know.

Well, I am more interested in just the trans as 3600 stall is a bit much for the street, I'm probably going to be wanting something more around 2800-3000. Assuming the other party will take the converter, leaving you with a complete sale, how much would you want for just the tranny?

Thanks,
