Guys,
I have the 12" 1LE brakes on my GN w the tall "B" body (big Chevy) spindles. The Upper A's were changed to the Hotchkis units. This was the only way U could do it years ago. Handles and brakes way better than stock and fairly cheap to install.
However, it does have "bump steer" due to the B spindle hanging lower and moving the outer tie rod downward. I've been searching for a solution to this for years as it is a PITA and potentially dangerous.
Does anyone know of any solutions ? I've heard that there is a guy named Mark at SC&C (?) on the East Coast that has some solution using a C5 Corvette spindle and brakes. However, I haven't been able to locate an E-Mail address for them. Then another buddy said that he thought he had heard that there were aftermarket Lower A frames that might solve the problem, but he didn't know who made it.
Anybody got any clues ?
