Bumper Bolts

Hey, I am looking to replace my bumper and shock bolts for the front and rear bumpers. I know that I can get any bolts at the hardware store, but I want to put the original material and sizes back in the car. If you know the sizes and can help me, please do.

I was just installing my do it yourself bumper fillers on my GN.

The bolts that hold the bumper on appeared to be studs with the reverse torx head on them so you can use a reverse torx female socket on them to remove them. Nuts were 1/2" and had a built in washer edge for greater surface area contact.

Thread size appeared to be 5/16 I believe.

I bought this car used however......

I would contact James or Brian Weaver and get the original stock stuff that was used, it should cost the same or less as trying to source it from stores and be 100% correct.

All the bolts on and for the bumper, including the shocks are 8 mm.

Never have seen these bolts available commercially?

Some bolts are torx, and others are not.

If the originals have rust on them, soak with penetrating oil and they will be fine.

Well, where my shocks bolt to the frame.... I am missing bolts and have miscellaneous ones installed. I like the torx.... I will grab some and get them installed...
