I need to get all four bumper fillers.
I see that gbodyparts.com has all four in fiberglass.

Has anyone used them?
Are they easy to install?
Are they worth it?

Thanks

Yes.
Yes.
Yes.

I bought mine from Brian at Gbodyparts some time ago, highly recommend for all you Buick needs :). Since my GN is in need of a paint job i decided to use spray paint from a rattle can. Gloss back and they blend in perfect with the rest of the body ;) I recommend having another person there to help with holding up the bumpers as you remove and reinstall so as not to damage the fillers.

Good Luck!

Ummm..Gbody sells the Danko ones but you can get a way better deal on their website

Gbodyparts

My car had fiberglass fillers when I bought it. I got rear-ended, and had to replace the Right rear filler with one from gbodyparts. After I got the car back, I realized how crappy the remaining 3 are by comparison. It's a nice piece.

Nice first post

I prefer to use supporting vendors because without them it will be very difficult to acquire parts for our Buicks.

I like mine. I had to add some washers to kick the bumper out a little on the passenger side. They fit well, but need to be painted. A helper would be good to avoid the scratches like I did to mine.

I just ordered a rt. front from gbody on friday, Brian said he likes the abs plastic ones better than the fiberglass ones . He said they fit better and have better lines. We will see when it comes in

They are making their own fillers now. Try and wait for those instead of the Dankos.

Any time line on those? Mine just blew out, so I'm going to need two fronts soon. I'm sure the backs are getting close to the end of their lives as well.

the use of a floor jack in the center of the bumper works pretty well for the front to install it, I did this by myself, no probs. just be careful.. a buddy is always the best help though :)

I got my rear fiberglass filler from Brian over at G-Body parts, you will not find a finer vendor then Brian, great giuy to deal w/.

I thought for a fiberglass part, the fitment was pretty good, I actually molded my rear fillers into the body, and eliminated the seam below the license plate, pretty sharp looking. pics can be seen ion the restoration section...

NOS4GN sells factory front fillers but are pricey compared to Brian's. Nice to have choices though. I bought a set of front/back from Brian in fiberglass (Danko) for $235 and they fit perfect. I also bought a set of fronts ($265 I think) for my other car from NOS4GN and since they were GM, were easier to install (no holes to drill). But Brian says the ones he is making also will not have holes to drill, as he will drill them.

I also give Brian a big thumbs up. I've bought every single part from G-bodyparts that I've put on my car since I bought it last year. About 4-5K worth. Always willing to ship out usps to save me money at the boarder (which can be huge)
He will continue to get all my business (as long as my mufflers make it here within the next week ;))

Did Jenny get back with you on that yet?

jetmech the fronts have crisper lines with the abs. I also said that with the rears they are hit & miss. I know a few vendors who stopped carrying ABS because of returns.

cetme1 We don't rush anything to get it to market. We try to do it once & try to get it right. There are a lot of good body shops out there but I new Miguel at Pat's autocare was doing a real Hi-Quality paint job. We sent him a set up to pick apart the fillers. If anything needs to be improved he will let me know. Then we will correct the molds & run a production of 100 fillers sets.
I spoke with him earlier this week & he was happy with the quality so far.

Keep up the good work Brian!!!!! Gbody does get their shipments out figgin fast!!!!!

What's the issue that causes so many people to want replacement fillers?

They get brittle and crack. If you keep your car garaged you might not have that problem. Color on them also fades with time, so instead of painting 25 year old fillers it might be better to paint new ones.

I bought fiberglass fillers for the rear and ABS for the fronts (bought them at different times from Gbodyparts)
Very happy with the rears..haven't gotten to the fronts yet..just had them painted at the body shop and hope to get them on soon.
Thye look very nice and I bought the ABS based on Brian's recommendation.
