i NEED bumper fillers and just found out they now make two versions a Fiberglass version and an ABS plastic version..... what are the pros and cons to each and which would YOU spend your hard earned money on? Are the ABS ones worth the extra ca$h:confused: TIA

okay read all the posts.... not really a true consensus... lots of people say fiberglass is good. some say ABS is good. I think ALL say OEM is good - but i think prices have gone up since these posts and i am not independently wealthy.....................................yet. Any pics of ABS vs Fiberglass. my only concern with the FG is that it would be too brittle. but im probably jus trippin???

your trippin!!!!LOL. I'll see if I can get you some pics tomorrow. If you are good at using some fiberglass filler to alter the fiberglass ones, they will look the best. They are not a perfect fit, but you can make them perfect. I have a show car and the are absolutely the best if your are looking for perfection.
The fiberglass is the same as my bumbers, they have some give to them....as far as someone hitting me......uh ????????????

Bud I'll send you a set of your choice. If your not happy we'll take them back. I posted this some where last week but the long & short of it race car or daily driver go FG.
Show car or very nice car go ABS. They also have a lifetime warranty.
The post you read with Cal is a set of ABS we sent him for his low mile GN.

I bough my rear fiberglass bumper and rear fiberglass filler panels from G body parts. Here are some photos.

The fiberglass fillers aligned up really well. All the hole locations were identified with dimples. Drilled out the dimples and mounted them to the car. Next I went ahead a laid fiberglass mat and resin, bonding both panels into one. A little body filler to the top surface and now both panels are one piece.

No more ugly seam like the car came with from the factory.
