When I finish driving my car it has developed that oil on the exhaust smell but I cant find any oil on the ground . It is just a slight hint but noticable . What are the trouble areas that I should beging to look at . I dont want a small situation to get worst

Check under the car bet its the rear main seal, its pretty common. Might be burning off on the cross pipe. When the car sits for a while check it for oil spots.

The oil could be dripping onto your crossover. Common places to inspect for oil leakage which can drip onto the crossover are the back of the intake, oil pan gasket and the valve covers.

Another possibility. Check your oil breather on the driver's side. Sometimes it will drip on the cover and on to the exhaust. Can happen when under boost some pressure gets by the PCV valve into the intake causing oil to push out of breather. That's my experience anyway. I changed to a new AC Delco PCV and cleaned up the breather. Smell disapeared. Worth a look.
