Bushed Lifter Bores

If I have Bushed Lifter bores can I use a solid roller lifter that does not have a shielded foot ? like a small block chevy solid roller lifter ?

Yes you can.

You must make absolutly sure that the bushings used are grooved around their backside and indexed properly so as not restrict main oil gallery on right hand side of block, also avoid bronze material at all costs, use cast iron sleeves. It's cheaper and less of a headache to use proper (shielded foot) lifters, you still need to make sure that base circle is small enough to allow full lift and not uncover oil passage.
