a 70 Buick GS w/102k miles for $4000. not bad considering its a classic and I could probably stand the price.
then there's a 86 GN with 150k miles on it...and wants $7000
  dude must be on crack. This is in comparison to Jackson's friend whos selling the 86 T-Type for much much cheaper and of lesser mileage.

That 70 GS has been for sale since late June. That guy might be on crack too as the car is in bad shape. IMHO I would consider it a parts car. Looks like the inner roof might be rusty as the white headliner is stained brown. Also couple of metal patches were lifting up:confused:. While checking out the car, a white turbo car drove up Kapahulu Ave. in the afternoon. Anybody here?

Nelson:)

that sucks. i've seen that white 87 turbo-t in kapahululu frequently at 711 there. an old man drives it. its the one with the missing rear bumper fillers right? there are few other TR lurking around kaphulu waialae and kaimuki. wait till you see the el grand national. i forgot who told me but, a disabled war vet owns the el camino. i first got a glimpse off it by ace hardware. it had the distict TR sound and the spooling. got a little closer and it sported the emblems and the GN front clip and bubble hood. jackson geoff and clint can be found around there.

Chris,

Yup, I know that car. When I used to live in town, I remember seeing that car on the road coming up from Kapahulu Jack in the Box. If you're heading up that road, Diamond Head bound, go past Jack's and up to the first light. Go through the light, and the car should be about 4 houses up on the right side of the road.
The guy's house has a wheelchair ramp going up to the front door. I haven't seen that car in a long time. Last I saw it was probably 6 or 7 years ago.
Real nice conversion, from what I can recall. It had the GN front end, interior, and rims. Good looking car.
Down this side, I hardly see any TRs anymore. Go figure.

That turbo/el camino lives on maunaloa ave or street, going up Date street pass Jack-in-the-box and Starbucks its pass the light on the top. Where I live there are many TR's to be seen here. I got two, down the street there is one that a 87 GN a elderly woman drives, another 87GN a block up and a few more blocks away a friend with his brother with a nice 87GN and a 87 Turbo T. Kaimuki there is one that I know and another 2 in St. Louis hts (Geoff's).

Owner is Ryan Smith,
Lives at the corner of Maunaloa and 7th ave. Used to be a good friend. another story for another time.
I believe he had two of them GN Elkys, at one time, and one TPI powered, which I helped him set-up.
