buying a car with paypal?

i have a guy that wants to use pp to buy an old car i have. Ever heard of doing it this way? Car will have to be picked up from out of state, won't leave here with out the $ in my bank. Car is $7500

Wouldn't do it. Might look into Popmoney if your bank does that.

May be legit but also follows the pattern of one of the scams. Bank Draft/ Cashiers Cheque AND your bank calls to verify.

i emailed him and said no to the paypay. He just now got back to me and asked what i need for payment.

I bought my gn using paypal, had to wait a few days for it to clear but it worked.

I bought a project Turbo-T a couple of years ago for $3800 using paypal.
I was nervous about it initially but I had no problems with the transaction.
It helped by the fact the seller was reputable & kept in contact until I got the car.

Paypal protects the buyer a lot more than the seller in my opinion. I wouldn't accept payment that large.
