I would like to get a few shares of stock. I have no idea how to do this. Should I use a place like e- trade? thanks

yes e-trade would be the ticket.. i have used them in the pass and it wasn't that bad.. but i'm not a big stock trader, so someone else could be using a better web site..

I use Scottrade and got a free 1 yr. sub to McAfee anti virus with it and $7 a tarde on the net! Bought a group of GM today while watching it on their program at $2.99 per share. All the democrat's want to bail out the UAW and I'll bet $100 that they do just that! Should send the stock up again! Maybe I'll just do day trades, but in Feb. 08 it hit $30 per share and back in "04 it was over $55 a share!

GM goes, so goes the entire country!

I use TD Ameritrade for all trading. Keep in mind it is a bear market. You might see GM go down before it comes back up. I would hate to see it become a Penny stock!

I was considering picking up GM as well. I do expect it to go down more until they get figured out, no telling where the bottom is.

The GM I bought yesterday at 2.99 opened at 3.40 sold my position at 3.19 it went down to 2.80 only to close at 2.95! 52 week low is 2.75 which it should test tomorrow as it was going down on the close. You can make more money on day trades then a sit and hold. Just sit in front of your computer and play the bumps! For % you can't beat those $2-$5 stocks and this market! You just have to play with 20,000 to 50,000 shares at a time to make a nice living! 5 cents on a 20,000 share stock is $1K! Make your money in half hour to 3-4 hours and done for the day! Go out have a 30 oz. steak for dinner, and buy the wife a $200 pair of shoes, you'd be surprised how she'll BACK YOU UP on your decisions to play the game!

Need that BIG turbo, It's yours next week if you learn to play the game!
