wasup guys i just sold my hybrid malibu but i will mostly buy this wrecked 87 gn tomorow....it was rear ended pretty bad but since it had fiberglass bumpers their was no frame damage at all....radiotor support needs to be pulled back just a little bit..i might pull the right quarter panel but i most likely replace it..needs both bumper ,grill, trunk and tail lights.,,,not to mention paint is show quality literally i went to look at and i was amazed....interior is mint,,motor and tranny have about 120k.....but i dont no if i should part it out or fix it......insurance apraised the gn at 16k....im getting it for a little over 3k..wat do you guys think?????

You'd make a ton of $$ by parting it out, but if it can be fixed, it would be nice to see another one saved.

It would be nice for you to save it but again parting it will get you more cash.

I would hate to see it parted out, but you certainly can get more out of it that way. You can view it another way, you can be saving other TR's!

yea i thought about it and parting out would give me more money but i always wanted a gn ...im leaning on fixing it since i paint cars for living so i would only pay my body man to replace quarter panel ....but i will keep u guys updated today i should pick it up around 5 pm today hopefully i get it....

Don't part it out. It's way too nice and very salvageable to strip it down. It may be worth more in parts now but in the long run it'll be worth more as a whole and you'll be happy you kept it.

took out the radiotor supprt today i will be putting in the new tomorow will post piks up soon

congrats

looks like you got yourself a heck of a deal, i'm for saving it too, besides nothing gives you more pride then knowing it was done right and doing the work yourself. also gives you more insight on it, nice looking car and well worth the money.
