C&K Stage 1 trans & 10.5 convertor?

I've got a stage 1 trans & 10.5 convertor which I purchased from C&K Performance. The question is today when installing convertor in transmission when the convertor is pushed all the way back on transmission shaft the ribs on the back of the convertor rub a casting bump on the transmission pump. Is this normal and when it is bolted to the flex plate will it pull forward enough so it does not rub. On the stock tranny and convertor there was no rubbing when convertor was pushed all the way back? Thanks Jicaju

Once it pulls out from being tightened to the flywheel it should not interfere anymore (unless there is something wrong which i doubt)

Don't sound right to me. I would not install untill I got an answer from Chris.

when it is bolted to the flywhel there will be no interference.if youd like you can call in tomorrow

After doing some measuring I think your probably right. Just that I've got a lot of money in motor and tranny, don't want to make any mistakes. Hey, Chris if you read this today could you give me a call? I know it's Sunday and if you don't I'll understand but I would like to put motor in today. Oh yea, have you had the new baby yet?
