My friend's room mate has a 95 eldorado.. he asked me if i would take a look at his car and change the plugs and wires for him.. a shop quoted him $795 for this job.. WTF.

anyone take on this task? anythign special i need to know about? i'd love to make a little extra $$ and help someone save some money at the same time..

any info would be appreciated. also.. apparently it has an exh leak at the EGR.. which they quoted him $80 to fix.. i'm guessing i can solve that problem too.

thanks guys!

Reminds me of the time me and my dad had to change the plugs in his Taurus SHO, that was very irritating having to dissemble the top of the motor just for the plugs.

its not that bad its kinda hard to get the rears if he needs it done i can do it for 75.00 plus the parts i am down here in venus which is 30 miles south of dallas on 67. later

ps your probley looking at under 300 with the 75.00.

dealerships!

my buddies BMW cost 1000 bucks for a brake job!! i could have done it for less than 200 using premium parts!

we are not that bad  ... the labor rate is what kills us most the folks in the dfw area are at almost 100 an hour we are just at 67.50 which is decent.
