Cal can tune the WOT on the TT chip. There's just not much he can do with the driveability ussuse, as the chip would need to be reburned. The Fast, Big stuff, and XFI systems are fully tuneable in these areas. I run a wide band/Powerlogger TT chip. Eric does a very good job of getting the driveability nailed down. Cal drove my car around the street for ten minutes and agreed that it drove like a stocker. (Well, except for the 500 HP at the wheels).

It was kinda cool to put my car on the rollers. make a pull. Back it up with another, and struggle to find anything left to tune. This is proof that these cars can be properly tuned without a dyno. You just need a good wide band data recorder, poeple who understand the data, and what to do about it.

Mike I have to say a dyno is a safe alternative for somebody to work on their tune instead of the street. And for those that lack the safety equipment to legally make a full wide open throttle at the track or have no near track. Or at least those that are concerned about their safety.

Yep. Owns a 10 second car, but never gets on it on the street. OK. Keep telling me that. I'm gullible.

I have to admit, though. There is a place for dyno tuning.
When you want to dial in the high rpm, high map regions on a highway geared car, it's hard to find a good stretch of road to do that on.

Keep in mind, a dialed in tune on a dyno typically does not equate to a dialed in tune on the street, or on the track. It simply gets you closer, safer and quicker.

Wow! Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I want to start by thanking Jeff for the hospitality and Harold for putting it all together. As great as the cars looked, they performed even better. You guys have some fast street cars! I will admit, the last car did scare me a little, but I'm sure they will get things sorted out. I also liked all the innovation on Mike's car. Harold's car made great hp for a 109 on a conservative tune and Ralph's car made enough power to get him into trouble real fast if he's not careful
